Loving son of the late Oscar and Mary Flader (nee Williams). Beloved husband of 51 years of Janet Flader (nee Moll). Cherished father of the late Laurie Ann Flader. Amazing brother in law of Greg Moll, Roger Moll, Vickie (Scott) Hodgdon, Tina Cole and Laurie (Keith) Johnson. Loving uncle and friend to many.
As an EMS dispatcher Doug loved to help others in need and while on duty he had two clinical saves to his name which is why he felt so strongly about donating his organs and tissue to help others in need by saving their lives.
Doug was a member of the corvette club. He was also an avid science fiction reader who loved animals and music.
Visitation will be held at Heiligtatg – Lang – Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd on Thursday February 26, 2026 from 9 am until time of service at 10:30 am.
Burial at Holy Childhood of Jesus Cemetery in Mascoutah IL following the service.
