Ellen H Temple

Ellen H. Temple, age 83, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was born on April 17, 1939 in Framingham, MA to the late Martin Alexander and Gladys Irene (nee Barrows) Holmes; beloved wife of the late Arthur Temple; loving mother of John Wesley (Pamela Wheelis) Temple and Deanna Leigh (Keith Michael) Davis; loving grandmother of Donovan Anthony Temple; dear sister of Irene Brown and Martin "Bill" Holmes; dear aunt and friend to many.

Ellen was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a past President of United Methodist Women Circle at New Hope. She was a retired substitute teacher at Sherwood Elementary School (C-6). She loved to travel, knit, visit family, garden, do woodwork, and sew. She was so proud that she was able to sew Deanna's and Pam's wedding dresses. Ellen loved hummingbirds, eagles and birds of all kinds. She visited many National Parks over the years with Denali and Yellowstone Parks being her favorite.

A visitation for Ellen will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010 and visitation Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church, 3921 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. Memorial service will be celebrated Friday, February 17, 2023,11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church following the visitation.
