Flora Ruth Ahrens, age 92, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. Flora was born May 2, 1925 in Albertville, Alabama to the late Mandie O. Dendy (nee Chatham) and Wilburn A. Dendy.
Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Louis Ahrens.
Flora is survived by; daughter Donna (Nicholas) Statler; granddaughter Sarah Statler and grandson Scott (Elizabeth Casey) Statler; great grandchildren Ariel and Ella.
A funeral service for Flora will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO. 63010. The visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The committal service will take place Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan, Jefferson Barracks, MO. 63125. The burial will immediately follow at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Flora's memory may be made to Shriner's Hospital or Alzheimers Association appreciated.
