George Nick Contis passed away on July 13, 2014 at the age of 93. Mr. Contis was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 11, 1921. He was the dear father of John G. Contis and the late Nicholas Contis, beloved husband of the late Maria G. (nee: Antonopoulou) Contis, dearest son of the late Nick and Martha (nee: Thompkins) Contis.
He was baggage handler for the railroad for over forty years. Mr. Contis proudly served in the Marines during World War 2 and the Korean War.
