Granville Arnold Patterson

Granville Arnold Patterson, age 97, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born in Quilin, MO on June 24, 1926 to the late Harvey Arnold and Emma Jane (nee Black) Patterson; beloved husband of the late Ella Patterson and the late Loyce Patterson; loving father of Danny (Rita) Patterson, Pam (and the late Greg) Myers, Brian Patterson and the late Dennis (Pat still survives) Patterson, Bruce (Kim still survives) Patterson and Steve (Liz still survives) Patterson; dear brother of Imogene and the late Ruby, Noble, George, Wilbur and Gene; loving grandfather of David (Marilyn), Heather (Vince), Mandy (Rick), Kristy (Mike), Bobby, Glenn, Jon (Sam), Bret, Cory (Lacey), Katy (Travis), Dana (Nicole), Jake (Kacey), Zach (Tameka), Sarah, Tyler and Brandon; great grandfather of Adrian, Ava, Cayden, AJ, Alyssa, Vinny, Lucas, Olivia, Paige, Austin, Chance, Conner, Leah, Blake, Bobby Jr., Aleah, Makayla, Victoria, Gabe, Levi, Hayden, Madison, Kylie and Logan; and his 1st great great grandchild on the way; dear uncle and friend to many.

Granville served in the US Army during WW II and earned a Purple Heart and an Expert Rifleman Medal for his honorable service.

A visitation for Granville will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, 10:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Memorial donations in Granville's Honor may to St. Jude Children Children's Research Hospital or to Foster Care.
