Jesse E. Swart, age 84, of Arnold, MO. entered eternal life on Monday, July 26, 2021. Jesse was born August 21, 1936 in Hibbing, MN to the late Murl and Nina (nee Paige) Swart; Beloved husband of Wilhelmina Swart (nee Meijen); loving father of Aleen Swart and the late Kent (Mandie still survives) Swart; loving grandfather of Bali and Kiley Swart; dear brother of Murna Thomas; dear friend to many.
Jesse loved to spend time with his family and fishing and hunting with his son. He enjoyed playing checkers with his granddaughters and going to their soccer games. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church and sang in the choir for over 30 years. Jesse served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Meramec-Arnold Elks Lodge # 2372 and the American Legion Post # 283.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. Funeral service and Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jesse's Honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
