Joseph R. LoPiccolo

Joseph R. LoPiccolo of St. Louis County, MO. passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was born on October 4, 1944 in St. Louis, MO. to the late Pasquale and Katherine (nee Schottel) LoPiccolo; Beloved husband of Diana M. LoPiccolo (nee Kreitz); loving father of Steven (Julie) LoPiccolo, Gina (Alex) O'Bryan, Maria (Scott) Friedrich, Joseph (Susanna) LoPiccolo, Katherine LoPiccolo and Paula (Jason) Ragan; loving grandfather of Reese and Olivia LoPiccolo, Mason and Alayna O'Bryan, Tessa and Remi Friedrich, Liberata, Francessca, Bianca LoPiccolo, Rome Ragan and step grandfather of Kala O'Bryan and Marino Ragan; dear brother of the late Pasquale (Pat) LoPiccolo Jr.

Joe was a member of U.S. Air Force and Teamsters Local 682. In his younger years, his nickname was "Fred Astaire" because he was light on his feet on the dance floor. He loved playing slow-pitch softball and basketball. In his later years, he enjoyed golf. He never missed a morning card game at Colombos'.

His monthly card club and more recently, Monday morning poker games were the highlight of his social life. Joe loved his TV shows: Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, Sports and World Poker Tour Tournament.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 4-8 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. Funeral service Tuesday, August 25, 9:15 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joe's Honor may be made to J.D.R.F. (Juvenile Diabetes), Shriners Hospital or masses.
