Katherine LaVerne Juergens

Juergens, Katherine LaVerne, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri. She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Harry Juergens. She is survived by her two sons: Rick (Sharon) Juergens and David (Carlin) Juergens. Grandchildren: Gene Juergens, April English, Jeni McDavid, Johnny McCurvin, Matthew McCurvin, Melissa Evers and Britney Bowman. Great Grandchildren: Ryan, Joseph, MaKayla, Azalyn, Adyson, Jeriah, Tyron, Hailey, Albert, Kayden, Madilyn, Madison, Mariah, Tanner, Keira, Matthew Jr. and Christopher. Mrs. Juergens has one sister surviving: Betty Anne.

She was born January 1, 1926 to the late Robert and Willie (nee: Greer) Burnes in Union City, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by one son: Larry Juergens, two brothers: Robert and James Burnes and one sister: Nelda Louise.

Funeral Service will be conducted Monday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Boulevard in Arnold, Missouri. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Mrs. Juergens' memory.
