LaVerne N. Boester

LaVerne was an Environmental Services Representative (EVS) in the healthcare setting of the Level's 1 Trauma, Stroke, STEMI & Burn Center that is Mercy Hospital St. Louis, as well as, Missouri Baptist Medical Center St. Louis, for many years before she retired. LaVerne was a member of The Festus United Pentecostal Church. LaVerne enjoyed word search books, Church, crocheting, gardening, & enjoying moments with family.

LaVerne was born July 31, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Clifford & Beulah Breeden.

LaVerne is survived by; daughter Donna (Clifford) Humphrey; son Dennis (Donna) Hilkenkamp; grandchildren Kelly (Murad) Yacoub, Steven Thatch, Jessica (Matt) Limbaugh, Dillon Thatch; great grandchildren Andrea Thatch, Alayna Yacoub, Christopher E. Thatch, Rejoice Yacoub, Skylar Limbaugh, Dallas Limbaugh, & Marissa Thatch.

LaVerne was preceded in death by; husband Charles Dale Hilkenkamp, husband Leroy Boester; grandchildren Christopher S. Thatch, Denny Hilkenkamp.

A Celebration of Life & Remembrance service, for LaVerne, lead by Pastor Arnold Mangus will be held Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where all family & friends are welcome, at Festus United Pentecostal Church, 1020 Central Ave. Festus, MO 63028. The private funeral/committal/burial service & Interment, of LaVerne, will be held prior to the Celebration of Life & Remembrance service, where immediate family members & relatives are welcome at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 Lucas & Hunt, Normandy, MO. 63121.
