Lindell Raymond "Ray" Stacy

Lindell Raymond Stacy, 87, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed from this life on the morning of Sunday, February 1, surrounded by his loving family. Lindell, known by all as “Ray,” was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, teacher, mentor, and faithful member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church of Arnold.

He was a retired teacher, counselor, and administrator of Fox C-6 School District, last serving as principal at Seckman Junior High School in Imperial. He enjoyed caring for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the beloved pets they shared with him. He was a cherished advisor and counselor to all whom he encountered, sharing biblical wisdom to all who would listen. He also loved cowboy movies, bluegrass music, going to church, reading, hanging out with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and listening to his beloved grandson play the banjo. Ray was a loyal friend who always had advice ready, along with the name of a good book. He was also a world traveler.

Born August 3, 1938, in Fredericktown, Missouri, he was son to the late Lendal and Regina Stacy of Fredericktown, Missouri. He is survived by his two daughters, Leanna (Stacy) Lueders and Michelle (Stacy) Weeks, both of Imperial; and their families, including seven grandchildren: Alexis (Lueders) Seitz, Travis Lueders, Kurtis Lueders, Bailey Lueders, Lindsay Weeks, Melissa Weeks, and Billy Weeks; and three great grandchildren: Charley Seitz, Otto Seitz, and Waylon Seitz. Ray also leaves behind four siblings, John Stacy of Farmington; James Stacy of Farmington; Anna (Stacy) Hurt of Ironton; and Donna (Stacy) Schreiber of Farmington. He will be missed, but he will be joining two brothers, David and Eddie Jo Stacy, and a sister, Jenny (Stacy) Moss, along with his parents and other family, in Heaven. He will welcome us there.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Arnold. Arrangements will be handled by Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
