We are so very sorry to hear of Norma's passing - our deepest sympathies to the entire family.  We have many happy memories of times spent together in the subdivision.

I met. Norma Jean at VFW. Played shuffleboard with her. She was such a nice woman. Glad I had the opportunity to meet such a great women. RIP Norma.

What a wonderful woman Ms Norma was. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her trails. We spoke one evening after Don’s passing and she was truly broken-hearted - I am so glad I took that moment to hug her tight and remind her we all loved her. 
Rest easy with your loved ones my friend. 

Thinking back of all the years we were neighbors and the strength Norma had in taking care of her husband and then, Don.  It takes a special woman for that!  Had lots of fun times playing Left, Right, Center at the Neighborhood gatherings,  I know she will be sorely missed.  

We have lived a few houses down from Norma for almost 24 years. I will remember her as a straight shootin', spunky, fun, loving, hard working woman who never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. We will miss her. Prayers for the family as they learn to move forward with only her memory.  I hope loved ones can find peace and comfort knowing she is resting in God's hands now🙏

I’ll always remember having band practice in Norma’s garage and her coming home or just walking outside and jamming along with us. In the summer, she would let us play football in the side yard and then jump in the pool afterwards. Looking back, there were so many fun memories thanks to Norma!

We will always fondly remember how warm and welcoming Norma was to us and our family. Always willing to share her great cooking and fun at the pool. We hope you and Dad are dancing every dance in heaven. 

Reading this obituary just breaks my heart, Norma Jean was one of the most delightful ladies that I have had the pleasure to befriend.  She was always up for anything that had to do with having a fun time.  The best one was when we went to RiverCity to see the Chippendales and spent the night, we forgot where our room was and when we finally found it, I taught her how to line dance going down the hallway, of course, there were cocktails involved. She will remain in my memories as a dear friend and will be missed.  Prayers for her loved ones for peace to get through the days ahead.  
 

I can't begin to tell you how I felt last night when I arrived at the VFW  and was told the news about Norma.  I just started to go to the VFW for shuffleboard last year.  I met Norma and Don and such a sweet couple and really good shuffleboard players.  I was lucky when I drew either one for a partner.  I would sit by Norma and we had many conversations.  She just loved to talk about her family and especially those grandchildren.  It was hard for her to come back to playing shuffleboard after losing Don, but she did and everyone enjoyed being with her.  She will always remain "sweet in my memory."  Thoughts and prayers for the family.
