Rosalia Mateka

Rosalia T. Mateka, 85, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, Mo. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank E. Mateka. Loving mother of Albert (Mildred) Mateka, Barbara (Michael) Burgess, Mary (Joseph) Vogl and Nancy (Michael) DuBois. Sister of Theresia (Paul) Wessels and Emmet (Patty) Wuertz. Adoring grandmother of Gail Mateka, Christopher Vogl, Dennis Burgess, Theresa Kramer, Shawn DuBois, Scott DuBois, Melanie DuBois; four step-grandchildren, Cheryl Mann, Douglas Villmer, Darrel Villmer, Brian Villmer; 10 great grandchildren and a special friend Paul Unterreiner. She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and one great-grandson.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Biehle, Mo. She enjoyed quilting with the ladies in Biehle and playing bingo.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, 4-8:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. There will be a short visitation on Wednesday, June 8, 9-10:00 am at St. Johns Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs Road, Imperial, Mo. 63052 followed by the service at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
