

Millerbaugh, Thomas John, 92, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his home in Arnold, Missouri with his loving and caring family. Tom was born in June of 1927 to John and Martha (Hudson) Millerbaugh, in St. Louis, Missouri, he had one sister Janet (Herkenhoff) Millerbaugh. He graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1944. He later graduated from Washington University with a degree in architecture after the war.
Tom served in the U.S. Navy in WWII as a Seabee, where he served in the South Pacific. He met his beautiful bride and wife of 70 years, Eugenia (Gin) Papageorge, after the war and they were married in 1949.
Tom was an architect; he worked for Bank Building Corporation and had his own firm. Tom designed many banks, schools and churches in the St. Louis area, and nearby. Apart from managing his company, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends. He loved to paint, travel and did so extensively. He loved golfing and fishing. Tom was a lifetime member of the Order of Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Gin, his parents, sister, and many dear in-laws. Tom is survived by his son Robert (Lisa)Millerbaugh; grandchildren, Michael (Christina) Millerbaugh, Bradley Millerbaugh, Matthew Millerbaugh and Step-Grandson Brandon Maroney; Great-Grand Children, Jenna May Millerbaugh, Wyatt Millerbaugh, and Waylon Millerbaugh, as well as step-great grandson, Kanon Maroney; and many loved nieces and nephews. At Toms request there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on November 15, 2019 at 11:00, with a celebration of life after. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Backstoppers.
