Ty is survived by his son Kai Chase Large. His mother and father, Jan and Larry Large, live in Clarksville, TN. He had two sisters, Lisa Brown and Kazue Ryales, along with his brother-in-law Mark Ryales. He had nine nieces and nephews: Isaiah Autry, Ericka, Archie and Marie Ryales, Lyric and Skylar Brown, Je’von and Anton Reed. In addition to his family in the United States, he held a close relationship with his family in Okinawa.
Ty was born on August 13, 1968 in Okinawa, Japan. He served in the United States Coast Guard for four years. After his service came to an end he made St. Louis his home. In 2006 his son was born, who became the light of his life and best friend. He shared a brotherly relationship and especially his love for cars with his life-long friend Sean Mitchel.
He had a personal relationship with Christ.
