Hall, Alfred “Tinky”, 74, a life time resident of Beaverdam, and a U.S. Army Veteran passed away on March 19, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Hall; son, Timmy Hall; daughter-in-law Brandy Hall; and his three grandchildren, Ryan, Wyatt, and Cory Hall. He will also be fondly remembered by many children and their families for which he and Linda cared for more than 40 years. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where a service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Interment will be in Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery.
