COX, Danny Eugene, 55, of Quinton, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Cox. Danny is survived by his wife of 34 years, Angela; daughter, Kristen Ramsey (Michael); brother, Robert Donald “Don” Cox (Toni); and numerous family members and friends. Danny will be remembered as happy and generous, having the ability to make everyone laugh, and someone who loved his family and his fur babies, Sandy and Rylee. He was a 10 year veteran of the United States Army, and attended Atlee Community Church for 18 years. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland VA 23005 from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21 at Nelsen Funeral Home.
