Eleanore (Erickson) Johnson died peacefully on Sept 10, 2014 at the age of 91. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Adele and Jim Coleman, grandson Cecil “Chuck” McCumber III, sister-in-law Mary Erickson and numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families. Eleanore was a devout Christian and had a beautiful soprano singing voice. She worked as a medical secretary for many years and was also an accomplished seamstress and knitter. She loved to garden, feed the birds and bake delicious cookies and pies. She also loved to travel and saw much of the US as well as the Virgin Islands, France, Spain, South Africa and Israel. Eleanore was born and raised in Cambridge, Minnesota, then married and moved to California. In later years, she moved with her daughter to Nevada, Missouri and, most recently, Virginia. Eleanore made many dear friends every place that she lived and she will be missed very much.
