HALE, Franklin Oscar Jr., passed peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2014. He is survived by his sister, Grace Orrack; and his son, Warren Hale; daughter-in-law, Beverly; two grandsons, Warren Jr. and Mathew; two great-grandchildren, Kylee and Carter. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va., where services will be held Wednesday, September 17 at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kenwood Methodist Church, 11208 Elmont Rd., Ashland, Va. 23005.
