Fredericka Isabelle Logan, 89, of King William, joined heaven on September 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Logan, Sr.; grandson, Thomas Russell Logan and great-grandson, Grayson Howard Nichols. Mrs. Logan was the world’s greatest mother and loved her crossword puzzles. She is survived by her nine children, Thomas Jefferson Logan, Jr. (Laura), B.F. “Pete” Logan (Annette), Bernard Logan (Marilyn), James William Logan, Sr. (Sandy), Debra Logan Matzganis (Theodore), Lucy Kay Wolfgong, Jonathan Wayne Logan (Margaret), Brenda Joan Richardson (Bill), Robert Lee Logan (Sharon); seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home- Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
