George James Dean, 77, of Caroline, passed away March 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Dean. Mr. Dean is survived by his children, Thomas Dean (Christina), Marie Puckett (Boo Boo); George Dean Jr. (Trisha), Glenn Dean (Rhonda); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister, Gladys Eddy. He retired from Kings Dominion with over 25 years of service. George was an avid hunter, fisherman, and race fan who loved Ford Motor Company. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home- Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park.
