EDWARDS, Harriette Koch, 77, of Ashland, passed away on April 12, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Ruby Koch and the widow of Russell "RC" Edwards. She is survived by her sons, Ricky Edwards (Lee) and Rusty Edwards (Wanda); grandchildren, Afton Edwards, Lindsey Edwards, Sara Salvato (Stephen); and her great granddaughter, Lily Salvato. Harriette was raised at the Snow White Inn, the family restaurant. She continued cooking the famous navy bean soup for friends and family after the restaurant closed. She was a member of Kenwood United Methodist Church. Harriette loved and deeply cherished her three granddaughters, great granddaughter and her grandson in-law. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4-8pm at the Nelsen Funeral Home-Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Interment will be at Kenwood United Methodist Church Cemetery.
