Joan Bulthuis-Hanky

BULTHUIS-HANKY, Joan, 80, of Ashland, Va., passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2017. She was born August 19, 1937 in Chicago, Ill., to James and Marie Skoudlil who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband, Willard Bulthuis. Joan is survived by her husband, Donald Hanky; children, Timothy (Michele) Bulthuis, Geralyn (Gene) Gravatt, Madalyn (Ted) Cauthorne and James (Ashley) Bulthuis; and grandchildren, Zach, Logan, Berkley, Bryan, Sierra and Carson. Visitation for family and friends will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 28, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 105 S. Snead Street, Ashland, Va. 23005, where she was a faithful member for many years. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at the church, followed by interment in Woodland Cemetery, Ashland and a reception at the church.
