CAUTHORNE, Katherine Mills, 93, of Beaverdam, and widow of Bernice Lee Cauthorne passed away Friday, November 18, 2016. She is survived by her stepson, Ernest "Peter" Cauthorne (Carol), daughter-in-law, Mildred Cauthorne; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Several very dedicated neighbors, LouAnn Cave (Terry), Virginia Hall, Karen Blackwell, Linda Warner and Frank Hargrove; her cousins, Tommy Mills (Ann) and Estelle Bandy. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Highway, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Duke's Chapel, followed by an interment in Fork Episcopal Church Cemetery, Doswell, Va.
