Lee Mahanes Salmon

SALMON, Leaudrey Lorriane,44, of Rockville, passed away on June 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmo Meridith and Alma Marie Mahanes. She is survived by her husband, Bubba Salmon; children, Stephen Smith and Julia Salmon; parents, Lois Mahanes Conwell (Jerry) and Raymond Eugene Robbins (Diane); siblings, Tammy Darlene Swindells (William), Jamie Conwell Lewis (Henry) and Jennifer Conwell Bryant (Gary); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends; and her loving pet, Biscuit. Lee was a school bus driver for Hanover County. She was the President of Montpelier Fire Department Station 8 Auxiliary. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005. A service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Springfield Christian Church, 18285 Vontay Rd., Rockville, Va. 23146. Interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to P.O. Box 5, Oilville, Va. 23129 to Julia Salmon’s college fund. The family requests guests wear Lee’s favorite colors of red and purple.
