Henderson, Margaret “Maggie” Floyd, 68, of Ashland passed away on September 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Henderson. She is survived by her son, Ken Haley (Janet); and her daughter Debbie Haley; two sisters, Bernice Pace (Dick) and Ann McQuay (Chuck); one brother, Harry “Sonny” Floyd. Maggie was formerly employed by Ukrop’s Supermarket in Ashland. She was a cat lover and breeder. Her cat “Rapper” won 1st place in the National Cat Show. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland from 6 to 7 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Food Pantry, 800 Thompson Street, Ashland, VA 23005.
