Menzies, Meg Cross, 34, of Hanover, ran home to Jesus on January 13, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Scott F. Menzies; two sons, Gabriel and Whitfield; and her daughter, Skye; her parents, Wirt and Pam Cross; mother and father-in-law, Kirk and Gale Menzies; two brothers, Wirt and Howard Cross. Meg was a devoted Christian and loved to run. Meg was a loving daughter, wife, and mother and a friend to all. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Cool Spring Baptist Church.
