Searls, Ralph Lee, 78, of Ashland, passed away on December 1, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. Searles; three children, Brenda Hatt (Joe), Cathy Searles (Shawn), and Ralph Searles, Jr. (Vicki); six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; Margie Murphy, Arlene Harris, Shirley Dunivan and his brother, Jimmy Searls. Ralph was retired from Tyson Foods. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Nelsen Funeral Home-Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where a service will take place at 2pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
