Richard Harding Greene, 60, of Hanover, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Ray Greene and Fadra Lablanc Greene. He is survived by his beloved wife, Laurie Brothers Greene; brother, Chip Greene; two daughters, Lauren Greene Mast and her husband, Chris and Taylor Greene; four grandchildren, Cameron and Chance Greene and Brayson and Farrah Bristow and numerous nieces and nephews. He attended Roanoke College and was a Kappa Alpha and was known by his fraternity brothers as "The Grinder". Being a true family man, Richard loved spending time on the South Anna River with his family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 Henry Street, Ashland, VA 23005.
