HART, Robert Ray Sr., passed away on April 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Mae Hart; mother, Bulah Ball Hart and father, Walter Ernest Hart. Robert leaves behind his children, Thelma Ann Hart, Randolph Wilson Hart and Robert Ray Hart Jr.; daughters-in-law, Paige Hart and Pauline Hart; granddaughters, Samantha Grace Hart and Ashley Wixon Catron; two brothers, Clyde Hart and John Hart (JC). Robert worked for Hanover Fabricators for 9 years and at Holly Farms for 9 and a half years. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Goodman Family Cemetery in Montpelier, VA.
