Rose Marie Tate

Rose Marie Tate, 71, of Beaverdam, passed away May 8, 2018. She was the wife of James F. Tate. Marie is also survived by one sister, Joyce Epperly of Roanoke. Marie was preceded in death by her children, Tracy Clark and Dean Clark. Raised as a city girl, she married a farm boy in 1987 and fell in love with the rural lifestyle and our little farm. Marie was fearless and handled all the animals, even the biggest bulls, as she did chores when Jim was out of town at work. She was a tireless worker and always had a project of some sort going on. If she liked you, you were golden. Marie hated funeral and did not want to be the cause of one, so to honor her wishes, she will have a simple cremation. If you wish to honor her memory, make a donation to the local animal rescue of your choice. Marie loved all of our rescue animals and her dogs miss her greatly.
