Thomas Harrison Donovan

DONOVAN, Thomas Harrison, 78, of Ashland, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mayshack and Julie Donovan; brother, Bobby Donovan; and life partner, Edith Sharpe. Thomas is survived by his sons, Guy Donovan (Melissa) and Thomas Donovan, Jr.; daughter, Whitney Donovan; grandchildren, Caleb, Kyle, Logan, and Cyrus; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Allison, and Klara; siblings, Mac Donovan, Rebecca Perry, Edma Gammon, Howard Donovan, Nancy Payne, J.D. Donovan, and Dorothy Hoffer; and former spouses, Carole Donovan and Sandy Donovan. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 6, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Kenwood United Methodist Church cemetery, 11208 Elmont Rd., Ashland, Va. 23005.
