Virginia England Britton

BRITTON, Virginia England, 69, of Aylett, passed away on July 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lucy England; sister, Betty England Cecil and brother, Mark Wayne England. Virginia retired from Virginia Department of Agriculture with over 20 years of service. She is survived by her husband, William "Pete" Britton; siblings, Vernon England (Elaine), Phillip England, Frances Hardin, Linda Deale, and Hazel Hudson, numerous nieces and nephews, and her special companion, Daisy. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5-7pm at Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 3pm at Elon Baptist Church, 14031 Verdon Road, Ruther Glen, VA 22546. Interment will follow in Elon Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to unforeseen building conditions visitation is unable to be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, however, H. W. Dabney Funeral Home has graciously welcomed the Britton Family and Nelsen Funeral Home into their facility. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the West Rockville Youth Association (WRYA), memo line, RBL World Series, P.O. Box 241, Rockville, VA 23146 or Elon Baptist Church Cemetery.
