Brad is survived and dearly missed by his loving wife, Pat; his daughter Brandie (Marc) and his son Travis (Stephanie) and grandchildren Katelyne Bespalko and Drake Warken; his mother, Annie; brothers: Clarence (Barb), Tony, Lawrence (Joan), Randy (Judy), Greg (Dorothy), Darby (Natalie), Thomas, Vincent (Kathy), and Todd; his sisters: Lorraine Agopsowicz, Betty (Ron) Shenher, Florence Gording, Shirley Marinier, Michelle (Jim) Thompson, brothers-in-law, Randy and Richard Wagner, and sisters-in-law Penny and Pam and mother-in-law Helen, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Brad was born March 7, 1954 in Coronach, SK. Brad attended Coronach School and later took masonry at SIAST in Moose Jaw. He mastered this art and worked on many of the brick buildings in Regina and made many fireplaces in southern Saskatchewan. Brad married Pat Wagner, his high school sweetheart, and was blessed with three children that he was very proud of. Brad loved to work with his hands and was very meticulous with everything; you wouldn’t find anything out of place in his shop. Brad farmed for a while with his brother Cameron, then relocated and farmed and ranched until his passing. His dream of farming with both of his sons was short lived with the untimely death of his son, Shawn.
Brad was a good friend to everyone who knew him, he didn’t travel much because he enjoyed just being with his family and friends, and he enjoyed working and loved the farm life. He was always positive and his favourite saying was, “Don’t worry about it.” Brad loved animals and one of his requests before he passed away was to see his dog, Ozzie, so he was brought to the hospital to spend time with him. Brad loved music, especially country and enjoyed playing cards.
Funeral Service for Brad was held at the St. George’s R.C. Church, Assiniboia, SK with the Reverend Scott officiating. Eulogy was read by Barb Warken, and a tribute to Brad, written by a good friend, LaVern Cobb was read by Stephanie Lasio and memories were shared by Gwen Nesvold. Some of Brad’s favourite songs were played during the service. A private family interment was held at the Lutheran Cemetery, Coronach, SK. Donations in Memory of Brad may be made to charity of donor’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
