Brent Kenneth Bjornson

Predeceased by his father Ken (Oct 30, 2019), Brent is survived by his mother Charlotte (Yost) Bjornson; siblings Allen (Kirsten) and children Kyle (Stephanie) and Jenna; Laura and children Katelynn and Kristine; Lisa (Don) and children Karyn, Brendan, and Katherine.

Brent was born November 24, 1962 on his family farm near Rockglen. He attended school in Rockglen but left early to help full-time on the family farm, being a great help to Mom and Dad. He also maintained the St. John's Catholic Cemetery, equipment, and tools for many years.

Brent enjoyed his Ford Ranger trucks which he made sure were driven equally and were always clean. He was active in the Rockglen bowling league for years. During the winter months when he had more time, he enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and novels, he also enjoyed country music and karaoke singing in the pub. He was quick to smile and laugh.

The family wishes to thank the tremendous staff at Grasslands Health Centre who gave Brent his second home and kept him comfortable during his last days.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2026 at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Rockglen. Father Anthony Phung Tran celebrant. Scripture reading and poem by Kirsten, tribute by Allen and urn bearer Laura. Interment in St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery will follow.

Brent really enjoyed the live entertainment brought into Grasslands. Donations in memory of Brent may be made to the Grasslands Entertainment Fund in care of LaVonne Cobb.
