It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Eileen Emma Wrolson (nee Greenwood) aged 79, announces her sudden passing on Monday March 4th, 2013 at the Coronach Health Center. Eileen was born August 10th, 1933 in Coronach to Harold & Reta Greenwood, the oldest of five children. Eileen attended grade school at Mountain Cedar and Clysdale and completed high school in Coronach. After graduation she worked at Greff’s Store in Hart. She enjoyed working in the mail room and especially working on “Train Nights”. She married Martin Wrolson on October 29th, 1955 and they were blessed with 5 children (3 girls and 2 boys) and lived on the family farm 10 miles north of Coronach. In 2004 they moved to a farm near Coronach where they presently reside. Family and friends were Eileen’s passion and delight. She enjoyed all aspects of farm life. She always grew a big garden. She liked cooking, baking, canning, milking cows, and embroidery. She even mastered the art of making lefse! She loved making that “special” quilt for each one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren when they were born. Eileen was very active in the church as well as the community. She enjoyed her time with family and friends, the door was always open and the coffee was always on, for any and all visitors. For many years curling was a favorite activity and later she took up bowling. She enjoyed travelling -- they went to Norway twice to visit family and went on many luxury cruises to destinations including the Caribbean, Hawaii and Alaska. Eileen was predeceased by her parents Harold & Reta Greenwood, her grandson Kelsey Wrolson, her brothers Melvin and Elmer Greenwood, father & mother-in-law Gustave & Anne Wrolson, and brother-in-law Don Kupper.
