

Gordon Taylor Spowart, 71, of Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly at his home on February 24, 2017. Gordon was born on the English/Scottish border on July 24, 1945. He was raised in Scotland, the son of James and Elizabeth Spowart. Gordon immigrated to Canada in 1965 where he met Sharon Olsen. They married in 1968 and together they had their beloved daughter Shawna. Gordon spent his career as a civil servant with the Province of Ontario, until his retirement. Post retirement he was able to explore his life’s passion as the Founder and President of the Numerology Institute of Canada. He travelled the world, reaching people far and wide with his teachings of numerology and spirituality. Gordon is survived by his daughter, Shawna Spowart-Moriarty (Anita); granddaughter Addison Spowart-Moriarty and brother Graeme Spowart Sr (Margaret). He was predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth (Graham) Spowart and his wife Sharon Spowart (Olsen). Gordon was a larger than life spirit who was a friend to many and loved by all. Celebration of Gordon’s life was held Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. Ignace RC Church, Willow Bunch, SK facilitated by Elizabeth Fulton.
