

Jack passed away peacefully in the Heritage Manor, Kindersley, Saskatchewan on December 31st, 2008.
Jack was predeceased by his parents John and Anne Duncan, brother-in-law Alvin Wagner and niece Shiela Vernette, several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Jack is survived by four loving sisters: Helen Duncan, Karen (Peter) Kuzniak, Linda (Andy) Volk, Cheryl (Darryl) Baniulis and one loving brother Bryan (Marlene) Duncan, two Aunts, Helen Duncan and Tillie Duncan and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jack was born April 11th, 1939 on the family farm near Coronach, Sask. and attended school there until joining the navy. He was stationed at HMCS Cornwallis and later on the west coast on a weather ship. Upon leaving the navy he worked several jobs across Canada.
Jack was a loving caring person who brought much joy to his family and friends.
Service of Remembrance was held on January 9th, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Coronach United Church. Pastor Muriel Castledine officiated. Honorary Pallbearers were “All those who shared in Jack’s life”. Music Ministry was led by the Coronach United Church Choir, accompanied by pianist, Joyce Nelson. Congregation Hymns included Processional – “Amazing Grace”, “In The Garden”, “The Old Rugged Cross”, and Recessional – “How Great Thou Art”. Urn bearer was nephew and godson Lance Trihub. Interment will take place at Coronach Cemetery in the spring. Tributes in Jack’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
