

With great sadness the family announces the passing of Joyce Donogh Nelson, age 86, on July 14th, 2012 at the Coronach Health Centre.
Joyce was predeceased by husband Eugene Ham and husband Henry Nelson, children, David, Deborah (Glenn) Hepworth and Shirley (Ron) Yewchuk.
She is survived by her son Garry and his wife Lorraine and children Chad (Carri) and Jeremy; daughter Donna Koropatwa and her husband Lorne and children Vaughn and Leah (Mike) Tallman; son-in-law Glenn Hepworth and children Candace (Kevin) Moody, Scott and Lindsay; son-in-law Ron Yewchuk and children Laurel (Sean) Beaton and Carla; great-grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas and Jeffrey Tallman; Patrick and Andrew Beaton; Katelyn and Anna Moody; and Aubrey Nelson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was born Joyce Donogh Williams at Balcarres, SK on May 30, 1926. In 1952 she moved to Coronach where she owned and operated a cafe and subsequently joined her husband Henry on the farm, which they actively operated until 1984.
As a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she left each family a legacy through quilting and needlepoint pictures. Joyce was actively involved in her community through her church, the Legion Auxiliary and Who Club. Her lifelong love for piano extended for four decades, playing at her church and many other functions. Her passions included her yard, garden and especially her flowers. She was an avid golfer and loved to travel.
The family wish to express their sincere gratitude for the exceptional care provided by the entire staff at the Coronach Health Centre.
Funeral service was held Friday, July 20th, 2012 at the Coronach United Church, Coronach, SK. Reverend Ian Kellogg officiated. Interment followed at the Coronach Cemetery. Donations in Memory of Joyce may be made to the Coronach Health Centre Trust Committee, Box 150, Coronach, SK, S0H 0Z0. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
