Ken was born in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan, on April 22, 1941. He grew up in Strasbourg, attended school there, following which he worked for Darwin Reid at Govan. Ken then took employment as a carpenter, working mostly in school construction, and later took up plumbing. In 1970 he moved to Assiniboia and took employment with Assiniboia Co-Op Plumbing and Heating. In the 1980s he moved to Thompson Lake Regional Park where he became Supervisor of the South End. Following that he became semi-retired and resided at Fordyce Manor.
A Service of Remembrance is to be held at an undetermined time in spring.
