Marian Josephine Spagrud

Marian Josephine Spagrud (nee Dellinger), aged 93, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Assiniboia Union Hospital in Assiniboia, SK. Her passing was peaceful and in the company of her loving family.

Marian is survived by four children: Marc (Belinda) Spagrud of Rockglen; Sheree Wendt of Calgary; Trevor (Melanie) Spagrud of Calgary and Trina (John) Hill of Calgary; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one sister Helen Kessler of Regina, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Melvin (Sept 2024), her sister Alice (Louis) Faucher, brother-in-law Adam Kessler and her parents, Urban and Margaret Dellinger.

Prayer service will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 7:00 pm and Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 am, both services at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Rockglen, SK. Following the Interment at St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery, everyone is invited to lunch and fellowship at the Rockglen Community Hall. A Tribute will be delivered by daughter, Trina as well as a family powerpoint presentation. Donations in Memory of Marian may be made to the Grasslands Health Care Auxiliary.
