Maxwell Valentine

Maxwell Allen Valentine of Coronach, SK passed away January 23, 2018, at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK at the age of 79. Max was predeceased by his parents Allan and Gertrude, his wife Margaret (nee Piché), infant daughter Patsy Lynn, brother Gary and brother-in-law Mel Pollard. He is survived by four children: Brenda (Neil) Vancuren, Gene (Danny) Vilcu, Karen (Gary) Colyn and Darren (Debbie); 11 grandchildren: Kristie (Gerard), Kirby (Travis), Kelsey (Ryan), Dalton, Wyatt, Devin, Brandy, Kally, Victoria, Darylin (Reece) and Shania; 11 great-grandchildren: Treyten, Levi, Ryder, Rihanna, Riley, Landon, Raelynn, Kadence, Toryn, Payton and Ashlynn. Also surviving are siblings: (Buddy) Clifford (Vicki), Faye (Gordon) Barr, Lois Pollard and Deanna (Paul) Harding; sister-in-law Joanne Valentine; as well as Margaret’s family, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm in Ross Funeral Chapel. Celebration of Life for Max was held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm in St. George's Parish Hall, Assiniboia, Sask. Reverend Marilyn Leuty officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, Sask. Donations in Memory of Max, may be made to South Country Health Care Foundation for the Assiniboia Union Hospital or the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency for the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic.
