My deepest condolences to the Mulvena family.
My heart feels smaller today. She was always so caring and loving to everyone. 
I will cherish all our times together and remember the good old days on the farm. Where I first experienced child labour.  Made me a stronger and better person. 
I will  miss you.

I was sad to hear Auntie Shirley had passed away. She was always kind to me and my 4 siblings, later to our extended families. I hold good memories of the time at the farm, and in Calgary and Invermere BC.  But it was the time spent in Rockglen that makes me smile, having farm cousins made family gatherings interesting to say the lease. Many laughs were had. My Dad was very fond of his Sister, I know over the years they never lost touch, and it was important for Doug to talk with Shirley as often as they did.  She will be missed. The last time I saw her was Special, August 2022. We had a great conversation as if time away didn’t matter, we just pick up where we left off. I will Miss her.  So Mike, Molly and Shawn I’m sorry you Mom is gone. She left a legacy for you guys to carry on.

We are saddened with the loss of your Mom. Auntie Shirley was a special person to us.  Her gentle, kind and caring personality was so welcoming. We loved our  trips to the ranch   She was such a warmhearted Aunt. Her-positive outlook on life spread joy to our family  every time we got to visit .
I remember as kids Dad would drive to Rockglen and tell us stories  about his special sister.  He couldn’t wait to see her again. I remember sitting at an Edmonton Saskatchewan football game. How she loved Saskatchewan and football. 
What I will always take away from Our special Aunt is to be patient. Listen and care for everyone else. Look for the positives in others. 
We will miss her dearly.

My most sincere sympathy to Shirley’s family and loved ones. Always a smile and a soft spoken greeting every time she came in.  She has earned her place in heaven.

We are sad to hear the passing of your mother.  She was a beautiful person whos heart was always full of kindness, compassion and love for all.

Whenever we were able to get together she was a delight to be around, she would always bring positive energy to our visits.  Aunty Shirley was such a great sport and loved to be with family and friends.

Aunty Shirley will be truly missed but never forgotten.  Our prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

My heart belongs to Shirley’s family , each and every one of you , she was so proud of you all and loved you deeply . I got the pleasure of sharing my friendship and time  with Shirls ( that’s what I called her ) during her last few years , she was so kind , witty , thoughtful , and such a good sport , she always looked forward to what ever activity we played and played them all well , she especially looked forward to movie afternoons , I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold another one , they were always mainly for her , it just won’t be the same .she also loved her music bingo , and the prizes she won would always go to her family , except that bucket of cotton candy , we had to hide that one from her haha .  She loved it when I was in the kitchen bc I would always make her cheesecake . She was so fun to talk too , I’ve taught her a few slang words over the years , she really liked that haha . Whenever I would bust out singing a song she would always join me , she will be missed so much , she wasn’t just a resident she was my friend . I’ll always remember her . Much love LaVonne Cobb

So sorry for you lose you had a very special Mom.  Shirley always seen the good in everyone. A lesson I admired. She was a very happy fun sister-in-law.  I will miss her nice phone calls.
