
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lenora Vee Brown (Nee Morrison) on January 30, 2015. Vee was born on the family farm, Big Beaver, SK on October 28, 1933 and was predeceased by her husband Bud, parents, Bill & Ethel, sister May, brothers Leo, Roy, Lyle, Hector and Barney. She is survived by her son Clifford Brown, daughters Maxine Brown (David), Connie Lee (Dwight) and her much treasured grandchildren: Clayton and Lyndon Lee, Doug, Jess and Jen Brown and their families which include eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Nellie Brown, brother-in-law Cliff and many nieces and nephews. Vee and Bud raised their children on the farm at Big Beaver. Bud passed away in 1974. Vee later moved to Regina. She worked at the Plains Health Centre for 17 years. Vee’s favourite pastime was camping with her children every long weekend in the summer. She loved going to garage sales and couldn’t pass up a bargain. She loved birds and animals especially monkeys, even having a pet monkey on the farm for a few years. She loved clothes, jewelry, jokes, dancing and Wilf Carter’s music. Mom was much loved and will be missed dearly. Her memory will be cherished forever. The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, Bengough, SK on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Marie Barr LPM officiating. A Tribute was given by Jodie Lee. Pallbearers were: Clayton Lee, Lyndon Lee, Jim Brown, Darnell Brown, Greg Brown, and Garth Brown. Interment was at the Big Beaver Cemetery.
