Barbara J. James of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on February 21, 2014. Barbara was born on June 9, 1943 in New York to William Schweit and Helen Rose Kovach. Barbara will be missed by her husband Louis Edward James, daughter Melissa James and sons, Richard and Chris James and by a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday February 28, 2014 2-5:00pm - 7-9:00pm. Interment will take place on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 11:15am at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Thomas M. Quinn & Sons, Astoria, NY.
