Survived by her husband, David; children Jesse Anderson, Missy Anderson, Kathryn Holmes (Bill) and Sarah Iba (Trevor); grandsons Marshall and Carter Fritch; father Pat Farwell; brother Mike Brady; sister Jean Hehn-Bradley; and many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her mother Kathryn Cook; sister Christine Brady O’Shea, and grandson Tyler Robert Fritch.
Kim is a bright light in this universe who loved with her whole heart and touched many lives. Kim was an extremely devoted mother and wife, and loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, laughing around the dinner table. She protected her family fiercely, like a mama bear with her cubs, putting her family first above her own needs. Mama Kim was a mother and trusted confidant to many; those in need could seek counsel and comfort from Kim and she never denied a person in need, friend or stranger. Kim was very generous with her wisdom.
Kim had a passion for animals and animal care, and had many beloved pets throughout her life. She worked as a veterinary technician and receptionist for many years and was the animal care “first responder” for all of her family and many friends. She was also known to adopt any pet needing a home, including once adopting and caring for an iguana that was abandoned on the door step of the veterinary clinic she worked for.
Kim would tell you her greatest achievement was her children, but she was a truly amazing woman who lived a beautiful life. A veracious reader and a curious mind; she was self-educated in many ways and would meticulously research any topic of interest. Her passion to expand her mind was admired by all who conversed with her.
Her children are very proud to call her mom. Her legacy, strength and passion will live on.
