Donald “Donn” McClish grew up in Burbank, CA., lived in San Fernando, San Bernardino, Temecula and Cambria before settling in Los Osos in 1981. A Veteran who served as a Dental Technician in the USAF, he later supported his family as a successful salesman and business owner. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarke McClish and Marian McClish and his sister Jean. He is survived by his brother Kent McClish, and his wife of 66 years, Dianne Carole Goode McClish, sons Dean McClish and wife Teresa, Dana McClish and his wife Teresa, and Darren McClish, and daughter Denise Rutan and husband Robert. “Papa Donn” had 7 grandchildren, Erica, Jessica, Rory, Shannon, Audrey, Jonathan and Matthew and step-grandsons Ryan and Brandon and numerous great grandchildren. As a Christian he shared his faith, helps and talents to many with God’s love, through actively serving his communities as a volunteer with his local Church, the VA, American Legion, Kiwanis, YMCA, Little League and as a School Board President. He enjoyed people, conversation, golf, and sports. The children invite the community to join in a Celebration of His life at The Well 1335 7th St., Los Osos, CA at 3PM, April 25th.
