Gregory Gene Jespersen

Gregory Gene Jespersen (4/26/1955 - 10/12/2016) Greg was born April 26,1955 at War Memorial Hospital in Paso Robles. He was the Son of Chris and Virginia Jespersen, and beloved brother of Pamela Ryan and Thom Jespersen. He attended the Lewis Avenue Elementary School and Atascadero High school, where he wrestled, played football and participated in the Future Farmers of America. Greg continued his education at Cuesta College where he also wrestled. Most of you remember Greg working at the family business, Jespersen’s Tire, where he worked side by side with his father servicing the communities tire and auto needs for over 50 years. His joyous laughter and personalty brightened up every room. Greg always believed and preached “You should always treat people the way you want to be treated, with love and respect.” His love for helping people was apparent in the relationships he shared with his family, friends and customers. On May 5th 1985, he married the love of his life, Luanne. Together they raised three beautiful children, their two sons Christjan and Gunnar, and daughter Josie. Later they were blessed with two grandson’s, Crispin and Grayson. Greg’s greatest success in life was his family. He was extremely proud of his family and wasn’t shy in expressing it. Greg always lived life to the fullest, whether it was waterskiing early morning glass at Nacimiento Lake or Skiing fresh powder, he enjoyed every moment. Yet, It was the little things that mattered most to Greg, dinner with the family, sunsets on the ranch, and just getting out of bed in the morning. If you asked how he was doing he’d most likely respond “Life is Good” And for Greg, Life was Good! Please join us for Greg’s Memorial Service and Celebration of Life on November 5th, 2016.
