

Jack was born on November 29, 1937 in Nova Scotia Canada to Lewis Millar and Mary Ann Millar. He grew up in Huntington Park California where is was well known for his award winning hot rods and street racing. On April 12, 1958 he married the love of his life Christine Cobine and together they raised 4 wonderful children. In 1968 Jack and Chris moved their family to Atascadero California where Jack worked as a carpenter until he was forced to retire in 1974 due to complications with diabetic retinopathy. Jack was dedicated to his family and supported all of his children’s activities be it sports, 4H, FFA, whatever his kid’s hobbies were at the time he was there to support. He was a charter member of the Atascadero Elks Lodge 2633. Jack was a quiet, kind and gentle soul who loved and lived life to its fullest.
Jack is survived by his wife of 62 years Chris, daughter Lisa and her spouse Michelle, son John and his wife Ginger, daughter Kristy and daughter Shelly and her husband Richard. Also, grandchildren Chase Millar, Cole Millar and his wife Jessica, Rae Lynn James and her husband Zach and Nicole Carney and her husband Kyle. He will be deeply missed.
