It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberta Ilene “Robbie” Moffitt, who left us on December 8, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Denver, Colorado, on January 30, 1956, Robbie was the oldest of seven siblings and grew up with a spirited sense of humor and a heart full of love. Her life journey led her to the small town of Atascadero, California, where she spent many years surrounded by friends and family who were touched by her infectious personality.
Robbie’s career took many turns, but she always brought her signature wit and warmth to everything she did. While she earned an Associate’s degree in Quality Engineering, it was her career in hospitality where she truly shined. Whether as a friendly, sassy server at Denny’s or as the always-smiling cashier at K-Mart, Robbie’s laughter and energy lit up every room she entered. Those who knew her will never forget her quick wit, generous spirit, and radiant smile.
A lover of motorcycles, Betty Boop, and movies, Robbie was never one to shy away from fun. She was the life of the party, and her ability to make people laugh and feel at ease was unmatched. More than anything, she had a heart of gold and always went out of her way to help those in need.
Robbie leaves behind her long-time love, Keith, her daughters Miranda and Melissa, and her beloved grandchildren: Alexis, Abbigail, Aubrey, Tyler, and Brady. She also had a great grandson Jesse James she adored. She was also a loving sister to her six siblings, a devoted friend to many, and a source of light and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her family will miss her love of life, her gorgeous smile, her quick wit, and her amazing laugh. Robbie was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
