Scott Michael McGhie

Scott Michael McGhie went to be with the lord peacefully in his home with his family at his side on 26 September 2016 in Templeton, California at the age of 55. Scott is survived by his wife Donna McGhie; his sons James (Desaree) McGhie, Bryce McGhie, Adam Day; his daughter Stacey (Craig) Tevis: his brother Robert (Joyce) McGhie; his sisters Colleen (Tom) Stott, Kathleen (Charlie) Remington and his grandkids. Scott is preceded in death by his father Lowell McGhie, his mother Teresa McGhie, his son Michael Barre, and his sisters Susan and Twila McGhie. Scott was born on 13 March 1961 in Helena, Montana to Lowell and Teresa McGhie. He graduated from Montana State University Northern in 1985 with a degree in Business Management. Scott was a generous individual who loved coaching and was passionate about his children and their sports. Scott was accomplished at fathering and woodworking and was often found in the garage working on projects or in his chair watching NASCAR. Scott met and married his soul-mate Donna. They enjoyed camping, with laughter in their hearts. A funeral is scheduled for 5 October 2016 at 1:00 PM at Atascadero Bible Church, with a reception to follow.
